We had 12 GWP's compete in the mock junior hunter and they all had a great time. For some puppies and handlers it was their first time out in the field and they did a great job. I think we have some people hooked.

We had several seminars at the Fall Festival. Dogs were entered in Proper Gun/Bird Introduction, Retrieving Seminar and a Grooming Seminar.  I think everyone learned some valuable tips in all of these areas.

We also held a conformation match with 10 entries and a Rally match with 7 entries. The conformation match was judged by Kathy Marks and the Rally match by Erika Brown. We had some newbies in both rings and I think everyone learned some new stuff especially in Rally.

We had a lure course at the site, it was so much fun watching the dogs run after the fox tail. They loved it. We also had a lunch and a general meeting to update the club members on the status of becoming AKC accredited. And during the grooming seminar we handed out our raffle items. We had great some prizes and a few members went home with very valuable gifts. We want to thank all the companies, vendors, and members that donated some outstanding items.

CH Reece Geaux Oskar RN JH CGC was named Best of Breed in the conformation fun match. Oskar is owned by Josh and Erika Brown of Woodstock, GA and bred by Anige and Mike Johnson and Tina Whitmore.

Afterhours Geaux Party Ava

was named Best Puppy in the conformation fun match.  Ava is owned by Erika and Josh Brown and Tina Whitmore.  Ava was bred by Christi Chism and Tina Whitmore.

Afterhours Major's Sunny Sky

was named High in Trial after having the highest score in the Rally Match, Great Job!
